Pet Behavior Guidelines

At Thunderbird Lodge, service animals and well-behaved pets are always welcome. We are happy to have you and your pet(s) as our guests.  These guidelines are in place to ensure all of our guests’ stays are enjoyable.  The fee is $20 per pet per night and is non-refundable, with the exception of service animals who are always welcome free of charge. In addition, your credit card will be authorized for $100.00 as a security deposit for any damage that may occur. Pet friendly guest rooms are limited and are subject to availability. We allow small to medium sized cats and dogs only. The fee is not included in your room rate and will be assessed, along with applicable taxes. 

 

Please carefully review our guidelines:

 

  • We accept domesticated dogs and cats only, with a limit of two Aggressive breeds, dispositions and/or exotic pets are not allowed.

  • For your pet’s safety, please keep him/her leashed at all times

  • Please walk your pet regularly. We have disposable bags for your use and we ask that the used disposable bags are thrown in the trash cans outside of the hotel.

  • Please let us know what time would be convenient for housekeeping to service your Pet rooms require daily service and your pet should not be in the room during this time.

  • Pets are not allowed unattended in our guest rooms.

  • Should your pet need medical attention, please contact the front desk and we will assist you with finding a local vet.

  • Due to health regulations, pets are not allowed in the dining area or the pool area, except for service dogs.

  • We do not anticipate your pet to be a problem; however, should your pet cause damage to any portion of our property, you are responsible for all corresponding lost room revenue and replacement of damaged goods.

  • In the event that there are noise complaints from a guest in neighboring rooms, you will be given ONE warning to silence your. If we receive further complaints after your warning, you may be asked to vacate the property without a refund and may be charged for any compensation that may be given to a disturbed guest.

 

Thank you for choosing the Thunderbird Lodge.  We hope your stay surpasses your expectations. Upon check-out, please allow a staff member to inspect your room.  Should there be any damages or loss of revenue to the Hotel or a 3rd Party due to your pet(s) or service dog, you will be held financially responsible.  Again, thank you for your cooperation and adherence to our Pet Behavior Guidelines.
