Pet Policy

Welcoming Pets
Thunderbird Lodge is pleased to welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs to our establishment. We understand that pets are part of the family and we are dedicated to ensuring a comfortable stay for both you and your companion.
Pet fees

A non-refundable pet fee of $25 per pet per night will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs.

An additional fee may be charged for excessive cleaning or repairs due to pet-related damage.

A refundable damage deposit of $100 may be required at check-in.
Pet restrictions

Weight limit: Pets may not exceed 40 pounds in weight.

Number of pets: A maximum of two pets is allowed per room.

Other pets: Cats and other types of pets are not permitted. Please contact the hotel directly for exceptions.

Service animals: Service animals are always welcome and are exempt from pet fees and restrictions.
Rules for your pet's stay

Check-in: You must declare your pet at check-in. Upon arrival, you will be required to sign a copy of this pet policy and agree to all terms and conditions.

Leash required: Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier at all times when in common areas, such as the lobby, hallways, and outdoor grounds.

Unattended pets: Pets may not be left unattended in guest rooms unless secured in a crate or carrier. If a pet is left unattended and causes a disturbance, you will be required to return to the hotel to address the issue.

Housekeeping: For the safety of both your pet and our staff, housekeeping will not service rooms with unattended pets inside. Please contact the front desk to arrange a specific time for service.

Disturbances: You are responsible for managing your pet's behavior to ensure it does not disturb other guests. Excessive barking or noise will not be tolerated. If there are noise complaints from a guest in neighboring rooms, you will be given ONE warning to silence your pet. If we receive further complaints after your warning, you may be asked to vacate the property without a refund and may be charged for any compensation that may be given to a disturbed guest.

Designated areas: Pets must use designated outdoor areas for relief. You are responsible for immediately cleaning up after your pet and disposing of waste properly.

Restricted zones: Pets are not permitted in food and beverage areas and the pool area.
Responsibility and liability

Damage liability: As the pet owner, you are financially and legally responsible for any property damage or personal injuries caused by your pet.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the hotel, its owners, and its operators from all liability and damage suffered as a result of your pet.

Right to refuse service: The hotel reserves the right to ask you and your pet to leave the property if this policy is not followed.
